Poncho Playtime

img_0671img_0670IMG_0541img_0681img_0772img_0838img_0860I am a firm believer that a poncho is one of the most wonderful articles of clothing a person can have in their closet. I believe this for a few reasons. First, they are so cute, and usually have fun patterns, which can add some refreshing color to the typically dreary earth tones of fall clothing. Second, it’s basically like wearing a blanket, and you just can’t beat wearable coziness. And lastly, this is the perfect piece for days when you just want to go eat all of the chips and queso at your favorite Mexican restaurant, and not regret it. The room that a poncho provides is a foodie’s best friend.

For this post, I styled this poncho with black skinny jeans, my taupe booties, and my black lace choker to accessorize it. What I love most about this poncho is the pattern. I love the contrasting patterns between the front and back, as well as the purple in it, since purple is one of my favorite colors, and I feel like you don’t see it too often in clothing these days.

I hope everyone is having a great week so far! Any suggestions or questions you may have, don’t hesitate to comment on this post, or leave a comment on my Instagram! Now all my fellow foodies out there, do yourself a favor and buy a poncho!
