And just like that, tomorrow is Thanksgiving. Tonight I’m going to start preparing my contributions to the meal, including mac and cheese, sweet potato casserole, and my Aunt Jan’s stuffed mushrooms! Tonight I will also start fasting so I can have plenty of room for the bounty of buttery carbs I plan to consume.

As you can see, I am introducing a special guest on today’s blog post…my lovely boyfriend, Juan. He was kind enough to let me feature him for this post! I’ve been wanting to show just a touch of men’s fashion on here for awhile, and there’s no better model than Juan. I mean, literally, he looks like a freaking model in these photos. And he doesn’t even try, it just comes natural. It’s really not fair. Maybe I should just let him run this blog lol.

I thought both of our outfits were stylish and simple enough that they could easily be recreated! A majority of the pieces Juan and I are wearing are older things that we’ve had in our closet for the past year or two, but I found a lot of similar pieces so there are a lot of options to get the same look! You might remember my wrap from this blog post, where I wore it as a scarf. That’s why I love blanket scarves. They can be worn both as a scarf and a wrap, and that’s a great way to get your money out of an item.

I hope you all are having a great holiday break so far, spent with friends and family, and are hopefully able to get off work soon if you are still working. I am so grateful for all of the blessings and amazing people in my life. From Juan, who can always make me smile and makes me feel so loved all the time, to my amazing parents who always take care of me when I need them. I am thankful for my little brother, Juan’s family who has become my second family, and my friends from both Charlotte and Charleston. I am thankful for all of you who take the time to read this tiny blog of mine. The list of people I am grateful for goes on and on, and that makes me feel so thankful.

Happy early Thanksgiving, everyone! Get your jingle bells ready, because if you thought my holiday spirit was annoying before Thanksgiving, just you wait until after tomorrow….
