And just like that, spring break is over. I am not ready to be back at school. But I’m trying to look on the bright side, because the fact that spring break is over means I am a little bit closer to being done with this semester. Since I got back to Charleston from spring break, I have been in a bit of a funk. Do you ever feel like you’re falling behind in several parts of your life? That’s how I’ve been feeling. I feel like schoolwork is reaching the point in the semester when it’s nothing but overwhelming and I just want to be finished with it all. Also, during the couple months before break, I had gotten into the habit of running multiple times per week, and it started to become a big part of my routine. But while I was gone for break I didn’t run or work out at all, and it has taken me few days to get back into the swing of my workout schedule since I’ve been home, and I think it’s been dragging me down emotionally. Same with eating healthy. I try to eat generally pretty healthy when I am in Charleston, but I love food, and it’s not hard for me to fall off the wagon when I am in Charlotte, or when my boyfriend comes to town. Anyways…the point of this whiny tangent was just to say that sometimes we all get in a funk, and that nobody’s life is perfect. When you look on social media, and read luxury style blogs everyday like I do, it’s easy to forget that everyone has bad days. I just want to be transparent on here, and I thought a realistic life update would be more refreshing to read than, “This top is great, you should buy it.” Or maybe it was a huge downer, I don’t know lol.
On a brighter note though, this top really is great…you should buy it (gotta get that plug in). Jokes aside, I really am very pleased with this top. Not only is it a good price, but it’s a very good quality (a thick t-shirt material), and very comfortable. I’m sure you will be seeing me wearing it a lot this spring and summer.
I hope you all are having a great week so far!! I know I will get out of my funk very soon, I think I just need to get back into my normal routine! Thanks for reading to the end, if you managed to make it!
