Happy December!!! Only 21 more days until Christmas! I am so ready to be home for the holidays. It’s all I can really focus on right now (looks like I’m in good shape for finals, huh? haha). I’ll study for my finals after I finish looking at Christmas cookie recipes on Pinterest. “Just ten more minutes,” has been my motto the past few days.
I wore this outfit when I was home for Thanksgiving and my family and I went to get a Christmas tree! I love love love this cape! It is so festive and really good quality. It sold out so many times online, so it was long gone by the time I was able to wear it. But I found some similar ones that are really cute, so those are all linked for you guys!
I hope you all had a great weekend, and are enjoying this holiday season with your loved ones! I’m gonna go narrow down my Christmas cookie recipes. As soon as I get to Charlotte for the holidays, I plan on having a baking extravaganza…all in the name of staying warm for the winter 😉

Hi, everyone! Today’s post brings you a special and adorable guest…my dog, Harley. He is the youngest of my three dogs and probably the most hilarious. I decided to use him as a prop for this shoot, and much to his dismay, try to find him a sweater that somewhat matched mine lol. My other two dogs were acting so jealous that he got to wear a sweater and they didn’t, but I know they would have been so ticked off if I had decided to put it on one of them instead. Those foolish pups!
In the end though, Harley and I both ended up being cozy together in our sweaters! This vest is from the Nordstrom sale is surprisingly still in stock in some sizes! It is really soft and comfortable and I highly recommend it! Also, I know I wear these ankle boots in pretty much every post, but if someone wants to buy me some more shoes so I can switch things up, by all means, feel free.
I hope you all are having a great start to week! I somehow managed to make it through working all of Black Friday weekend, and now am just trying to get through this last week of classes before exams start. Almost….finished….can’t….wait…..

Here we are. We made it through another week, meaning we are one week closer to fall. To celebrate, I watched two Christmas movies this past weekend and I don’t regret it one bit. I know I’m the kind of person that a lot of people cant stand (Cue the “It’s not even October!” crowd), but the holiday season makes me happy, so I’m going to keep milking it for as many months as I can.
I keep dressing warm in the hopes of summoning the cooler temps, but much to my dismay, it hasn’t really been working. I am not one to give up though, so I decided to share this lovely trench coat with you all. Maybe some of you should snag it too in order to bring on the brisk weather that I am in desperate need of. Come on, people! Bring on the dead leaves!
This trench coat is so flattering, as it has an adjustable waist that you can tighten or loosen to your liking. I also love the hood, and the fact that it is longer too, so it will look cute with dresses as well. The color is called ‘grey’ online, but in person it looks like more of a really pale blue to me. I am really looking forward to layering this with a lot of different looks once it starts to actually get cooler outside. I need to get myself a plaid scarf or button-up that has this color somewhere in the pattern to wear with it!
I am finally back in Charleston after being Charlotte for quite some time due to Hurricane Irma. Luckily no damage was done to my place and I am so thankful. I am also super thankful for all of the unexpected time I got to spend with my family and boyfriend while I was home too. Having to evacuate for hurricanes is soooo stressful, but always a blessing in that sense.
