Who doesn’t love bell sleeves? Sad people? The same people who think chocolate is gross, or that Titanic is a bad movie? I really don’t know the answer to that question, but I do know that bell sleeves are amazing, and I can’t see why anyone would think otherwise! I love this dress so much. From the sleeves, to the pattern, to the fact that it can be transitioned through the seasons, makes this dress a great staple to your closet. Plus, it can be dressed up or down! I dressed it down for this post, with my sandals and sun hat, but it can easily be dressed up as well, for a special occasion like a wedding or party (hint…hint…future blog post, perhaps?). All you have to do to transition this dress from summer to fall, is throw on some black tights underneath, and some tall black boots, and you are good to go! Maybe even add a black fur vest for extra coziness. Can you tell that I’m really excited for colder weather? Come on, -ember months, I need you!
I hope you all are having a great week! I am heading to Florida next week for a vacation with my boyfriend and his family, and I’m so excited! Keep an eye out for pictures!

Let me just start this post off by asking a question. Where, oh where, does the time go? The Fourth of July is literally right around the corner, and if I’m being honest, I’m still depressed that Christmas is over. I guess that’s why I’m a little late to the July 4th outfit inspiration game…time has just passed me by!
But hopefully this dress makes up for my lateness! It’s a little different from what you typically see for the holiday, but I just think the floral pattern mixed in would make it perfect for a backyard barbecue for the 4th! It also doesn’t look super “Fourth,” so you can wear it for other occasions without feeling like your outfit looks out of place during other times of year. And I think this goes without saying, but the sleeves are incredible. I am all about the statement sleeves trend. Gimme all the ruffles and tiers you got. I’ll take ’em.
I hope you all enjoyed this post! I’ll be spending the next four nights sleeping while visions of hot dogs and potato salad dance in my head. Gotta love the holidays!

Another Monday, another outfit! This week I am bringing you an adorable floral romper that I bought a couple of weeks ago when I was in Charlotte. Not only is it really affordable, it’s also really comfy. It’s the perfect amount of flowy and breezy, which is great, considering how disgustingly hot it has been outside (just look at my hair in some of these photos for reference…it’s easy prey for the summer heat and humidity, ugh). I love how easy the romper is to dress up, and dress down. I can’t wait to pair it with my go-to American Eagle jean jacket, which I take full pride in. Never ever be ashamed of a good jean jacket (excuse me while I go make this my Twitter bio).
And finally, this bag is basically on the list of my top five favorite colors ever. Shout out to my wonderful mother for letting me borrow it for this post! I’ve never owned a Kate Spade bag before, but I was really impressed with how sturdy it was. I know this brand is pretty expensive, but with the quality I was able to briefly experience, I feel like you do get the bang for your buck! Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find any Kate Spade bag in the exact color, but I did link some similar styles in it down below!
I’m wishing you all another happy week! My boyfriend is visiting me this week since I have a couple days off of work, and we plan on going on many Charleston food adventures while he’s here! Better get my flowy dresses and stretchy pants locked and loaded.

Let me just start by saying, that if you want to go running around on some hills while singing tunes from The Sound of Music, than boy, do I have the dress for you. This dress is so beautiful, and the fabric flows in a way that makes even the most ungraceful person (eh-hem…myself) look like they are one with the wind.
Maxi dresses are so comfortable, and if you have read my past blog posts, you know that I always appreciate comfort. This dress is so comfortable, yet so beautiful on. The color is a gorgeous green, and I love the feminine, floral pattern. It also comes in two other colors: a soft ivory, and black. The neckline and sleeves are great on this as well, and I often find that a v-neck with sleeves combination is the most universally flattering look on women of all body types.
How was everyone’s Easter? I spent the day doing homework and getting a solid sunburn by the pool, but it was a happy holiday! Summer break is right around the corner and I’m having so much fun planning outfits for summer blog posts! Now I just have to think about what colors go well with a sunburn….
