Alright, folks. Let’s cut to the chase. This dress is fantastic. I really don’t know what more I need to say about it. I mean, do you see it? It’s gingham. It’s embroidered. It has ruffle sleeves. It’s the color of sunshine. It’s flowy so you can eat in it. Do you really want me to keep rambling on?
This dress also comes in black, navy, and red — and believe me, if I could afford to purchase it in another color, I would! But sometimes I have to take a step back and calmly say to myself, “Hayley, I don’t know who you think you are that you think you can actually afford to buy this dress in another color. You are aware you pay your own bills right?” After that tough-love session with myself, I am able to come to my senses, and slowly (but not without hesitation), put my credit card back in my wallet.
Are y’all having a swell week so far? Any fun plans for the weekend? Right now, I am writing this post as a way to procrastinate on the 10-page paper I have due on Monday. Also, right before I started typing the sentence you are reading right now, I had just taken a 10-minute “break” from writing this post to look at earrings on Baublebar. I’m procrastinating on my procrastination….Lord, help me.

As crazy it may seem, Easter is only a week and a half away! When I saw this dress, I knew I had to have it and that it would be perfect for Easter…and every other day. Is there ever a bad day to wear a pink gingham dress? This dress is also under $50, super comfortable, and has pockets. It pretty much sells itself…Unfortunately it sells itself too well, because it is sold out, but I linked some other cute pink gingham dresses above! If it is restocked, I will let everyone know on Instagram! I plan on wearing it so much this spring and summer. It would look so cute with a hat too. Or cowgirl boots!
I am finally back in Charlotte from my trip to Arkansas. I am going to be here for a few days before I head back to Charleston, so I am giving myself a mini vacation. My mom and I are going to get our nails done, I’m going to get some goodies from Ulta, and my boyfriend and I are going to have a date night to celebrate our 4-year anniversary, which was a couple weeks ago. I have to plan a flowy outfit to wear so we can eat our little hearts out. Don’t get me wrong, I want to look nice for him too, but…priorities.

Can you believe that St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner? Yesterday while I was making my bed, I randomly thought, “I miss Christmas.” I’m still over here suffering from lingering feelings of post-Christmas sadness, and St. Patrick’s Day is about to come up and smack us in the face with a giant green four leaf clover (figuratively of course, depending on how wild your St. Patrick’s Days get). The point is that time flies. So in an effort to get my schedule into gear, I put together an outfit that would be so cute for the holiday!
This top is from Red Dress Boutique, and I really love it! To be honest, I love anything off the shoulder. I also love anything gingham. So I was sold pretty much instantly. I would also love this top with some white jeans too! Also if you are looking for a good place to get fun clothes at a decent price, Red Dress Boutique is one of my go-to places!
This year I will be spending St. Patrick’s Day with my dad in Memphis, TN! We are headed to Arkansas over my spring break to visit my grandparents for a few days, but on the way there we are staying the night in Memphis and spending some time there! My dad used to live there before he met my mom, and they actually ended up getting engaged there, so he is excited to show me around. What are your plans for the holiday??
Target strikes again, my friends…not that I’ve ever experienced a time when I’ve gone into a Target and not wanted to buy at least five things that I absolutely didn’t need. But, I typically don’t buy clothes there, so I was very excited when I found this top. Basically everything about it is something to love. The bell sleeves, the gingham, and the off-the-shoulder look, all come together to make this one of my favorite tops for summer. If only it came in a light pink!
Also, Target is the place to go for accessories. Whenever I have an outfit that is just missing that one little “something,” like a piece of jewelry, or a scarf, I head to Target, because I know I’ll be able to find just what I’m looking for, for cheap. This hat is from Target, and I cant wait to wear it this summer, as well as into the fall! I’m starting to get really into hats lately, because when you have hair as thick as mine, (It takes me an hour to do my hair. An hour. No, I’m not kidding.) you want to go as long as possible without washing your hair, so a hat really helps with this.
I hope everyone is having a fantastic week so far! I hope that you enjoyed this post! Just so you know, with all of my posts, you also get free lessons on how to stand super awkwardly! I mean, just look at the fourth picture from the top. Hopefully you all find this beneficial! *insert sarcastic tone* I’m still working on this whole posing-for-the-camera thing. Have a happy week, everyone!
