Free People Embroidered Top

Hello!!! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! My boyfriend, Juan, came to visit me this weekend and we had a great time together (like that’s anything new though *I say as I giggle and blush like a giddy school girl*). I worked most of the time that he was here, but we would rather get to see each other for a little bit than not at all!

Also another random thought, I found out last week that you can get your fries well-done at Chick-fil-A. I hate when I get fries from there and they are all soft and mushy. But when you get them well-done, they are guaranteed to be crisp! It’s amazing! To say that this newfound knowledge has changed my life wouldn’t exactly be a lie.

Okay, now onto the actual purpose of this post. These blog pictures turned out to be some of the best I’ve taken in a long time! I just love this outfit! It’s really stylish, but still so comfortable. I borrowed this top from my mom’s closet, and it’s currently on sale for over 40% off! Also, I know these jeans are really expensive (I got them through my job), but if you are looking for a great investment pair of jeans, these are amazingggg. They are so soft and comfortable, and the subtle rips throughout are the perfect touch. I love them!!!

I am wishing you all a great rest of your week! And if you try your Chick-fil-A fries well-done let me know!

Loving Lavender

PINK LILY BOUTIQUE Top (only $34!!) // PAIGE Jeans // VIA SPIGA Heels (old, similar here) // LISI LERCH Earrings

Another week is upon us my friends, and I’m already ready for the weekend. I hate rushing my life away like that, but I can’t help it! I just got back from a fun weekend in Charlotte, but as always, it went by way too fast. I just need school to be finished so I can move there and get to see my boyfriend and my family all the time!

This is one of my new favorite outfits, and I felt so confident when I was wearing it the other day. If you follow me on Instagram, you can probably tell that I am absolutely obsessed with these jeans. I wore them three times over the weekend because I guess I’m disgusting? I just think they make any outfit look instantly more stylish. I wore them with just a plain tank top and sweater on Saturday, and felt like I looked so much more put together and fashionable than if I had just been wearing normal skinny jeans. Also, the lavender of this thermal is one of my new favorite colors of this spring. The thermal is so comfortable and light weight though, and comes in six colors!

I hope you all are having a great start to week! We can get through it! Well…maybe y’all can. I’m barely making it through and it’s only Monday.

And just like that, spring break is over. I am not ready to be back at school. But I’m trying to look on the bright side, because the fact that spring break is over means I am a little bit closer to being done with this semester. Since I got back to Charleston from spring break, I have been in a bit of a funk. Do you ever feel like you’re falling behind in several parts of your life? That’s how I’ve been feeling. I feel like schoolwork is reaching the point in the semester when it’s nothing but overwhelming and I just want to be finished with it all. Also, during the couple months before break, I had gotten into the habit of running multiple times per week, and it started to become a big part of my routine. But while I was gone for break I didn’t run or work out at all, and it has taken me few days to get back into the swing of my workout schedule since I’ve been home, and I think it’s been dragging me down emotionally. Same with eating healthy. I try to eat generally pretty healthy when I am in Charleston, but I love food, and it’s not hard for me to fall off the wagon when I am in Charlotte, or when my boyfriend comes to town. Anyways…the point of this whiny tangent was just to say that sometimes we all get in a funk, and that nobody’s life is perfect. When you look on social media, and read luxury style blogs everyday like I do, it’s easy to forget that everyone has bad days. I just want to be transparent on here, and I thought a realistic life update would be more refreshing to read than, “This top is great, you should buy it.” Or maybe it was a huge downer, I don’t know lol.

On a brighter note though, this top really is great…you should buy it (gotta get that plug in). Jokes aside, I really am very pleased with this top. Not only is it a good price, but it’s a very good quality (a thick t-shirt material), and very comfortable. I’m sure you will be seeing me wearing it a lot this spring and summer.

I hope you all are having a great week so far!! I know I will get out of my funk very soon, I think I just need to get back into my normal routine! Thanks for reading to the end, if you managed to make it!

St. Patrick’s Day Gingham

Can you believe that St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner? Yesterday while I was making my bed, I randomly thought, “I miss Christmas.” I’m still over here suffering from lingering feelings of post-Christmas sadness, and St. Patrick’s Day is about to come up and smack us in the face with a giant green four leaf clover (figuratively of course, depending on how wild your St. Patrick’s Days get). The point is that time flies. So in an effort to get my schedule into gear, I put together an outfit that would be so cute for the holiday!

This top is from Red Dress Boutique, and I really love it! To be honest, I love anything off the shoulder. I also love anything gingham. So I was sold pretty much instantly. I would also love this top with some white jeans too! Also if you are looking for a good place to get fun clothes at a decent price, Red Dress Boutique is one of my go-to places!

This year I will be spending St. Patrick’s Day with my dad in Memphis, TN! We are headed to Arkansas over my spring break to visit my grandparents for a few days, but on the way there we are staying the night in Memphis and spending some time there! My dad used to live there before he met my mom, and they actually ended up getting engaged there, so he is excited to show me around. What are your plans for the holiday??

My Favorite Jacket (40% Off!)

BLANKNYC Jacket (40% off! Another cute color here) // Turtleneck (similar here) // Articles of Society Jeans // Vince Camuto Booties (low in stock, but identical here) // Le Specs Sunglasses (similar here) // Lisi Lerch Earrings

Hello!!! Another week is upon us! I’m pretty sure I say something along those lines every Monday. Sorry, I will try to start being more creative with my introductions.

Anyways, I am sad to say that this is my last fall/winter related outfit of the season. I am so sad. Fall and winter fashion is my absolute favorite. I love the sweaters, the jackets, the layering…the ability to hide my thighs under the cover of denim. It’s just a sad time for me, but I have to look on the bright side. Spring and summer shoes are the BOMB.

This jacket is 40% off right now and goes in and out of stock all of the time because it sells out so much. It is amazing though, I cannot recommend it enough. BLANKNYC has amazing jackets every year, and I have this jacket in the black leather version, which I wore in this post, and now in this suede version. I will probably get another one of their jackets next fall too, because that’s how much I love them. You can make a ton of different outfits with these jackets, and I always look for versatility in things that I buy. So if you have been thinking about this jacket, I would suggest getting it now while it’s on sale! You won’t regret it!

I hope you all had a great weekend! Get ready for a lot of spring content on my blog starting this week! The heat and humidity are coming, my friends! Do you hear that…? That’s the sound of my hair weeping. #NoMoreGoodHairDays
