Happy Friday! I hope you all had a great week! Any fun plans for this weekend? No fun plans on the Hayley front- just work and homework. My favorite kinds of weekends! (If you didn’t read that sentence with a sarcastic tone, you read it wrong.)
Isn’t this sweater adorable? I love how sweet and feminine the ruffles on the shoulders are. The ruffles make enough of a statement that you don’t have to do much in terms of styling, so just a pair of jeans and booties worked for me. But I think I would love it even more with white jeans and wedges once it starts to get warmer! P.S. It comes in grey too, if you aren’t a pink gal.
I hope you all have a great weekend! Before I sign off, I have been working hard the past few weeks to start planning spring content for March, and I would love to get feedback on what you all would like to see! Are there any specific outfits for spring you would like to see? Do you find my outfit collages helpful? Or would you like to see more beauty content? I value your feedback so much, so it would mean so much to me to hear from y’all! If you have any suggestions, feel free to leave a comment on this post or on one of my Instagram photos!

It finally felt like fall in Charleston yesterday and I finally felt complete. It wasn’t humid, my car didn’t feel like an oven after sitting in the parking lot all day, and the whole day was just incredible. I blasted Kenny G Christmas music on the way to work and teared up a little. No lie. (Oh Kenny, you saxaphoning fox)
Since it felt so great and cool outside, of course I had to seize the day and shoot a couple of my more toasty outfits, this outfit being one of them. I love a good fur vest, and I’m really glad that they’ve stayed in style for the past four years or so. They really add so much to what could be an otherwise plain outfit. Also, this top is super great. It comes in six different colors, both bright, fun colors, and a couple of great neutrals like black and tan. It’s a great basic that could be styled a ton of different ways.
I hope you all are having a great week! Nothing special going on in Hayley Land. Just more work, and school, and work, and some more school. Oh, and I’m watching the whole series of Friends for like the eighth time so I guess that’s pretty exciting…

Happy Labor Day, everyone! This week I start my new internship! I am so excited! It is my ideal internship, and I feel so lucky that I am able to get this experience and to learn new things outside of the college classroom. In honor of this week being my first week, I thought I would do a more business casual outfit for you all. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen a version of this outfit on the try-on videos I did last week on my Instagram Stories. Feel free to follow me on Instagram so you don’t miss any videos or posts like that!
So, what do y’all think of this outfit? Do I look ready for business? Ready to take on Wall Street (lol)? If you are looking for some pants for work that are sleek looking, but also really comfortable (I’m talking pajama-esque comfort), I highly suggest these pants. They are only $55, are pleated, and have a really comfortable feeling. They aren’t your typical stiff work pants. I would even wear these to a nice dinner with some strappy heels! This blouse is also another great find. It comes in red as well, and is on sale for $27.99! The material is really nice, and ruffle sleeves are one of my favorite trends right now. Just keep in mind that it does have a shorter length, so it is best to wear it with more high waisted bottoms. And keep in mind, I already have a pretty short torso, so for all of you (lucky) girls with a long torso, be sure to check out the measurements for this top before you purchase!
Can I just say that I am soooo ready for fall? I need it to cool off. I promise, my hair will look so much better in my blog photos after it finally cools down and this humidity starts to go away. I can’t take it anymore! The frizz is making me crazy. My hair looks so good when I leave the house, only for it to totally deflate as soon as I stay outside for more than five minutes. Do you think a baseball cap would take away too much of the business vibe of this look? Perhaps I can start a new trend.

Ah, spring…the wonderful time of year when I can start worrying about how pale I am! Oh, and about how bikini-body season is officially upon us…wow spring, you may be pretty and full of blooms, but you sure do know how to stress a girl out.
Well, what better way to get ready for bikini season than with a box of cupcakes, right?! And this dress may not tone or tan me, but it sure does help cushion the blow of the fact that I am neither toned nor tanned. Isn’t it adorable? When I first put on this dress, I fell in love with it. And when I added the hot pink heel, I basically couldn’t stop swooning at myself. This outfit is so fun and girly, and perfect for frolicking around in spring flowers (cause everybody spends their free time doing that, I’m sure). This dress would look so cute styled with a neutral heel, and some bright and colorful earrings as well. When a dress is this cute, you want it to be easy to style in various ways, so you always have an excuse to wear it!
Also, if you’re ever in Charleston, SC and want a sweet treat, you should definitely visit Sugar Bakeshop! Not only do their cupcakes taste great, but they also make great outfit accessories! Do yourself a favor and get the caramel cupcake. Seriously, though. Wishing everybody a great start to spring!
