FREE PEOPLE Top // TARGET Earrings // CITIZENS OF HUMANITY Jeans // SAM EDELMAN Shoes

Woohoo!!! It’s the weekend!! I literally just got back from the beach, and let’s just say that I am a tad burned haha. Not too bad though, so hopefully it fades to a bronze! At least we can hope! But it was seriously the perfect day at the beach on Sullivan’s Island. The weather was gorgeous, and there was a breeze the whole time so I didn’t feel too hot. My friend and I also went and got chicken salad sandwiches and lemonade at this cafe on the beach too. Such a great day! Now I am just waiting on my parents to get here because they are visiting me this weekend (and also procrastinating on cleaning before they get here too hehe)!

This top is so cute and it’s on sale!!! It’s so easy to just throw on and go. And I am also obsessed with my earrings. I loved them so much that I went and got them in another color! When they are only around $7, why not??

I hope you all have a great memorial day weekend!! And hopefully the rain chills out. I don’t know about you, but I would really like to see sunshine on my weather app for once!!!

Window Shopping Wants: March

Window Shopping Wants

one // two // three // four // five // six // seven

I have been on quite the yellow kick this spring, as you can see from this blog post and this photo. I don’t understand why people say blondes can’t wear yellow, cause I think it looks really good on blondes! And yellow looks even more bright when paired with a pretty blue color, so blue and yellow are the colors that have really been catching my eye during my frequent online window shopping sessions.

April Favorites

April has come and gone, and if I’m being totally honest, I was in summer mode for about 83% of it. But on the bright side, along with April came some new finds and trends that I am enjoying very much, and what better way to get through finals than by writing about things I’m loving, because we all know that final exams will definitely not make this list.

Marc Fisher Shoes

I had been wanting a pair of Marc Fisher wedges for awhile, and a few weeks ago Macy’s was having a huge spring shoe sale, and these two pairs were already on sale, plus had an additional 30% off! When I saw the sale, I lost all will power and snatched them up. I am so so happy that I bought them! They are just great, high quality wedges that I can put with anything, so I can get a ton of use out of them!  They are definitely worth all of the hype they receive, and Marc Fisher is probably my new go-to brand for wedges.

Target’s adorable doormats!

FullSizeRender.jpg-1

I know, right? This mat is totally, 100%, ridiculously adorable. Target has sooooo many cute doormats out right now, like this pineapple one (perfect for Charleston!), or this tropical one! When my roommate and I saw this cactus mat though, we thought it was just too cute to pass up. I don’t even want to step on it because I don’t want to get it dirty!

CHUCK Baseball Cap by The Nash Collection

IMG_3773

For all of you Charleston-lovers out there, I know that you’re digging this Chuck-Town baseball cap. I bought this from Teal Boutique a couple of weeks ago! I was hoping to get it in gray, but they were all sold out, so I settled for the olive, which is still available online (as I’m typing this though, there’s only one left in stock, so if you want it, you better go grab it!)! The Nash Collection also makes hats like this one for other cities as well, so you should definitely check them out. This hat is perfect for when I haven’t washed my hair in three days (which is my hair right now, as I’m typing this) and want to pretend like I actually put in the effort.

Statement Earrings

And finally, I have started to develop a taste for big and vibrant statement earrings. After I bought the earrings for this post, I wanted more, and I’m hoping to grow my collection over the summer! I am drawn to the really chunky, brightly-colored ones, and I think they just pop so nicely with a summer tan. I have my eye on some Lisi Lerch pairs in particular, and Baublebar has some awesome options for statement earrings out right now!

Well, another monthly favorites post down is in the books, and I hope it was just as enjoyable for y’all to read, as it was for me to write (and to buy the stuff for it, let’s be real)! Just a few more days of exams left, and I am finally freeeee!! I am wishing everyone a happy Monday, and check back next week for a new post!

Striped Cold Shoulder Top

IMG_3620IMG_3455IMG_3460IMG_3476FullSizeRender.jpgIMG_3584IMG_3604IMG_3654

Happy Tuesday, everybody!!! Today is a very happy day for me because it’s my last day of class before finals, which basically means freedom! It’s such a relief to have all of my projects turned in, and presentations completed. Now I can start getting into the mindset of a glorious, due-date-free summer.

Let’s talk about this top! I bought this top when I took a day-trip to Savannah, Georgia a month ago, and I just thought it was so cute. I have been really into blue and white stripes lately (I have about 5 dresses and tops that have blue and white stripes, so I should probably chill out), but this top has black stripes too, so I thought, “It’s different, I might as well!” (I really like to grasp at straws when I’m trying to justify purchases…). I love how the ties on the shoulders add a fun touch to your typical off-the-shoulder top, and add a little something different to the trend that we are so used to seeing, yet never stop loving.

I definitely plan on getting some use out of this top throughout the summer, perhaps by making it more casual with white shorts and some metallic sandals! One thing I felt that I was missing when I put together the outfit, was some fun earrings, but I didn’t want to wear dangly earrings, so I thought a fun ear jacket would be perfect for this top! That’s something I’ll add to my summer wish list, for sure!

I am so excited for summer because I will have more time to invest in this blog and really work on creating what I envision. Thank you so much for reading. It means so much to me!
