Hey folks! It’s officially my last day of class before spring break! Tomorrow I head to Arkansas with my dad to visit my sweet ol’ grandparents. It will be a short trip, but I’m excited! On the way there, my dad and I are gonna spend the night in Memphis so we can eat some barbecue and he can show me around the city where he and my mom met and got engaged. It will be nice to have some father-daughter time! I also bought three true crime books on Amazon to read on the trip, so it will be interesting to see how many people at the airport I weird out with my literal stack of books about profiling serial killers. You know me, I like to keep it light! 😉

This outfit is a little different than what I normally wear, but I thought it was too fun not to share (also, excuse my frizzy hair in these pictures)! I am in love with this t-shirt. I mean, look at Monica, Phoebe, and Rachel being all cute. I contemplated buying this shirt for two weeks before I finally pulled the trigger. It is now the greatest t-shirt I own haha. I get happy as soon as I put it on. If you enjoy novelty t-shirts like me, or if you are an avid Friends fan, you should definitely own this shirt too.

I hope you are all having a great week so far!! Spring break, hurry up!!! …Seriously though, hurry up. I’m running out of patience.

My Favorite Jacket (40% Off!)

BLANKNYC Jacket (40% off! Another cute color here) // Turtleneck (similar here) // Articles of Society Jeans // Vince Camuto Booties (low in stock, but identical here) // Le Specs Sunglasses (similar here) // Lisi Lerch Earrings

Hello!!! Another week is upon us! I’m pretty sure I say something along those lines every Monday. Sorry, I will try to start being more creative with my introductions.

Anyways, I am sad to say that this is my last fall/winter related outfit of the season. I am so sad. Fall and winter fashion is my absolute favorite. I love the sweaters, the jackets, the layering…the ability to hide my thighs under the cover of denim. It’s just a sad time for me, but I have to look on the bright side. Spring and summer shoes are the BOMB.

This jacket is 40% off right now and goes in and out of stock all of the time because it sells out so much. It is amazing though, I cannot recommend it enough. BLANKNYC has amazing jackets every year, and I have this jacket in the black leather version, which I wore in this post, and now in this suede version. I will probably get another one of their jackets next fall too, because that’s how much I love them. You can make a ton of different outfits with these jackets, and I always look for versatility in things that I buy. So if you have been thinking about this jacket, I would suggest getting it now while it’s on sale! You won’t regret it!

I hope you all had a great weekend! Get ready for a lot of spring content on my blog starting this week! The heat and humidity are coming, my friends! Do you hear that…? That’s the sound of my hair weeping. #NoMoreGoodHairDays

Transition Trench Coat for Fall

Here we are. We made it through another week, meaning we are one week closer to fall. To celebrate, I watched two Christmas movies this past weekend and I don’t regret it one bit. I know I’m the kind of person that a lot of people cant stand (Cue the “It’s not even October!” crowd), but the holiday season makes me happy, so I’m going to keep milking it for as many months as I can.

I keep dressing warm in the hopes of summoning the cooler temps, but much to my dismay, it hasn’t really been working. I am not one to give up though, so I decided to share this lovely trench coat with you all. Maybe some of you should snag it too in order to bring on the brisk weather that I am in desperate need of. Come on, people! Bring on the dead leaves!

This trench coat is so flattering, as it has an adjustable waist that you can tighten or loosen to your liking. I also love the hood, and the fact that it is longer too, so it will look cute with dresses as well. The color is called ‘grey’ online, but in person it looks like more of a really pale blue to me. I am really looking forward to layering this with a lot of different looks once it starts to actually get cooler outside. I need to get myself a plaid scarf or button-up that has this color somewhere in the pattern to wear with it!

I am finally back in Charleston after being Charlotte for quite some time due to Hurricane Irma. Luckily no damage was done to my place and I am so thankful. I am also super thankful for all of the unexpected time I got to spend with my family and boyfriend while I was home too. Having to evacuate for hurricanes is soooo stressful, but always a blessing in that sense.

Fall-ing For Light Pink

Happy Eclipse Day, everyone! Especially my fellow Charleston locals! I am so looking forward to clawing my way through the estimated million (!!!) of tourists here to see the eclipse. I mean, what could make a work day any better?? *Read the last two sentences with a tone of off-the-charts sarcasm.*

To help make this day a little easier to swallow, I am posting an adorable transition outfit, plus a little gift for you all (continue reading for more details). I know it’s only August, 90 degrees outside, and feels like you’re swimming in a fish tank every time you step outside, but no, you are not hallucinating when you look at these pictures. I am actually wearing boots. And lined boots, at that. Where do I pick up my trophy? I am beyond ready for fall. Like to infinity and beyond ready for fall. I need the holidays, and most importantly, I need cooler weather. My hair can’t take this humidity anymore. It misses the brisk fall and winter days when it stayed pretty all day, and didn’t lose it’s curl from me walking outside just to check the mail. And finally, I need to wear all of my fall clothes! I miss my boots, my sweaters, and my leggings!! So that’s why I’m bringing you a transition outfit this week. I just can’t wait any longer!

In this look, you get the colors and textures of summer, with the shoes of fall. This top is nice and airy, and doesn’t make you feel too hot. And it’s almost Labor Day, so we have to wear our white jeans while we still can (not that I abide by that rule much to begin with). These boots add a nice touch of the upcoming fall months we have upon us, and you could easily trade out the white jeans in this look for regular blue jeans if you want to carry it later into September.

And like I mentioned above, I have a little gift for you all! An online accessories store called ILYMIX, reached out to me and gave me a 20% off discount code to give to you! I ordered a pair of sunglasses from them a few weeks ago, and I was really pleased with what I received in the mail. I’m wearing the sunglasses I ordered in the pictures above! I wasn’t sure what to expect of the quality, just because they have such low prices, but the sunglasses are honestly really sturdy and high quality, and the metal frames aren’t flimsy or feel like they will break like some similar sunglasses I own. So not only are their prices affordable, but they give you a quality product too! The best of both worlds! Of course I ordered the pink pair to perfectly match my top, but they also have pairs that come in neutral colors like gold and silver too! It’s the perfect place to get trendy sunglasses on a budget. ILYMIX also carries really cute beanies and blanket scarves for fall (I love this beaded beanie, and this classic blanket scarf!), so I will definitely be snagging up some of those when it starts to get chilly! Just enter the code HOH20 at checkout to get 20% off your order!

I hope you all enjoyed this look, and are doing something fun for the eclipse! I’ll be at work in the center of it all…please pray for me!

Bows on Bows

Here I am with another post! Just a couple more weeks of freedom this summer, until the school weeks begin. I can’t say I’m too excited about that, but I am excited about this outfit! I love me some bows. Big bows, small bows, all bows. They are the perfect feminine and fun addition to any clothing piece. When I saw these shoes I about died. They come in red too, and I’m probably gonna need to go to the beach and throw my wallet in the ocean to keep myself from buying them. I paired these bow shoes with this adorable top that has a bow on the back, because why not? Too much, perhaps? Hey, at least I’m not wearing a bow in my hair. I do have my limits, you know?

As I’m posting this, I’m currently moved into my new apartment, and I couldn’t be more excited. I’ve decided that I will definitely do a bedroom tour once it is fully decorated! I am by no means an expert on, or even slightly skilled at, interior decorating, but I think it will be fun to share! Have a great week everybody!
