FREE PEOPLE Top // PAIGE Jeans // BAUBLEBAR Earrings // SAM EDELMAN Shoes

Hello!!! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! My boyfriend, Juan, came to visit me this weekend and we had a great time together (like that’s anything new though *I say as I giggle and blush like a giddy school girl*). I worked most of the time that he was here, but we would rather get to see each other for a little bit than not at all!

Also another random thought, I found out last week that you can get your fries well-done at Chick-fil-A. I hate when I get fries from there and they are all soft and mushy. But when you get them well-done, they are guaranteed to be crisp! It’s amazing! To say that this newfound knowledge has changed my life wouldn’t exactly be a lie.

Okay, now onto the actual purpose of this post. These blog pictures turned out to be some of the best I’ve taken in a long time! I just love this outfit! It’s really stylish, but still so comfortable. I borrowed this top from my mom’s closet, and it’s currently on sale for over 40% off! Also, I know these jeans are really expensive (I got them through my job), but if you are looking for a great investment pair of jeans, these are amazingggg. They are so soft and comfortable, and the subtle rips throughout are the perfect touch. I love them!!!

I am wishing you all a great rest of your week! And if you try your Chick-fil-A fries well-done let me know!

Happy Tuesday, pals! I am officially about a week and a half away from my summer break. It needs to get here pronto. I find myself constantly struggling between rushing the days away so I can be free of school for four months, and also not wanting my assignment and final deadlines to sneak up on me. But I think I will settle for rushing the days away lol. I need summer pronto.

This dress is a new favorite in my closet, and it is so feminine and sweet! It would be such a cute dress for Mother’s Day, for either a daughter or mother! I normally wear very straight-fitting dresses, but ever since I got this dress, I am finding myself looking more and more for fit and flare cuts.

I have the day off today, and I am treating myself to a trip to Ulta! I have some products that I am running low on, but I was up late last night looking at different products I’d like to try out. I am obviously very talented at managing my time in a productive way (have a 10-page paper due on Monday, but spent a good two hours browsing the Ulta site…). Do y’all have any makeup or skincare recommendations? If you do, feel free to send them my way, and be enablers in my procrastination! I think tomorrow I will do a haul on Insta Stories with everything I get! If you want to see, follow me on Instagram here.

I hope you are all having a fantastic start to your week!

And just like that, spring break is over. I am not ready to be back at school. But I’m trying to look on the bright side, because the fact that spring break is over means I am a little bit closer to being done with this semester. Since I got back to Charleston from spring break, I have been in a bit of a funk. Do you ever feel like you’re falling behind in several parts of your life? That’s how I’ve been feeling. I feel like schoolwork is reaching the point in the semester when it’s nothing but overwhelming and I just want to be finished with it all. Also, during the couple months before break, I had gotten into the habit of running multiple times per week, and it started to become a big part of my routine. But while I was gone for break I didn’t run or work out at all, and it has taken me few days to get back into the swing of my workout schedule since I’ve been home, and I think it’s been dragging me down emotionally. Same with eating healthy. I try to eat generally pretty healthy when I am in Charleston, but I love food, and it’s not hard for me to fall off the wagon when I am in Charlotte, or when my boyfriend comes to town. Anyways…the point of this whiny tangent was just to say that sometimes we all get in a funk, and that nobody’s life is perfect. When you look on social media, and read luxury style blogs everyday like I do, it’s easy to forget that everyone has bad days. I just want to be transparent on here, and I thought a realistic life update would be more refreshing to read than, “This top is great, you should buy it.” Or maybe it was a huge downer, I don’t know lol.

On a brighter note though, this top really is great…you should buy it (gotta get that plug in). Jokes aside, I really am very pleased with this top. Not only is it a good price, but it’s a very good quality (a thick t-shirt material), and very comfortable. I’m sure you will be seeing me wearing it a lot this spring and summer.

I hope you all are having a great week so far!! I know I will get out of my funk very soon, I think I just need to get back into my normal routine! Thanks for reading to the end, if you managed to make it!

Branching Out in a Fun Graphic Tee

Hey folks! It’s officially my last day of class before spring break! Tomorrow I head to Arkansas with my dad to visit my sweet ol’ grandparents. It will be a short trip, but I’m excited! On the way there, my dad and I are gonna spend the night in Memphis so we can eat some barbecue and he can show me around the city where he and my mom met and got engaged. It will be nice to have some father-daughter time! I also bought three true crime books on Amazon to read on the trip, so it will be interesting to see how many people at the airport I weird out with my literal stack of books about profiling serial killers. You know me, I like to keep it light! 😉

This outfit is a little different than what I normally wear, but I thought it was too fun not to share (also, excuse my frizzy hair in these pictures)! I am in love with this t-shirt. I mean, look at Monica, Phoebe, and Rachel being all cute. I contemplated buying this shirt for two weeks before I finally pulled the trigger. It is now the greatest t-shirt I own haha. I get happy as soon as I put it on. If you enjoy novelty t-shirts like me, or if you are an avid Friends fan, you should definitely own this shirt too.

I hope you are all having a great week so far!! Spring break, hurry up!!! …Seriously though, hurry up. I’m running out of patience.
